Tomato Salsa (a palate teaser)
Ingredients:
- 2 Roma tomatoes, peeled and finely diced
- 3 hibiscus flowers in syrup from Delicious Hibiscus Flower (whole), drained and chopped finely
- ½ tsp French mustard 2 tbsp chives, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper
- 100g sour cream
- 4 hibiscus flowers in syrup from Delicious Hibiscus Flower (whole)
- 2 tbsp cottage cheese
Direction:
- Gently toss tomatoes, flowers, chives, mustard and olive oil together. Season with salt flakes and black pepper to taste.
- Place salsa on a serving spoon and top with a little sour cream and a whole flower stuffed with cottage cheese.
